Outsourced Accounting & Finance Support

Ongoing bookkeeping, management accounts, and finance-function support — as an extension of the company’s own team.

Serving businesses across Nigeria from our Port Harcourt office.

Growing and owner-managed businesses often need reliable monthly numbers without establishing a full in-house finance department. Year-end accounts alone arrive too late for cash, tax, and operating decisions.

Joe Adinma & Co. can operate as an extension of the finance function: maintaining records, reconciling banks, processing payroll, and delivering a monthly management accounts pack that directors can actually use.

Who needs this

  • Owner-managed companies without a full-time accountant
  • Businesses whose bookkeeping has fallen behind
  • Boards that only see complete figures at year-end
  • Companies that need monthly management accounts for banks or investors
  • Finance teams that need overflow capacity at month-end
  • Directors who want cash-flow visibility during the year, not after it

What we work with

  • Bank feeds and statements
  • Sales and purchase invoices
  • Payroll data
  • Existing accounting software or spreadsheets
  • Budgets and prior management accounts
  • Tax filing history

What we do

  1. Step 01

    Scope and handover

Agree the monthly pack, software, approval routes, and the records we will receive from the business.

  2. Step 02

    Bookkeeping and payroll

Process transactions, maintain the ledger, and handle payroll and related statutory returns as scoped.

  3. Step 03

    Bank reconciliation

Reconcile accounts each month so cash and the ledger remain aligned.

  4. Step 04

    Management accounts

Issue a monthly pack covering profit, cash, receivables, payables, and tax balances, with brief variance commentary.

  5. Step 05

    Cash-flow and advisory

Where required, prepare cash-flow forecasts and discuss the figures with management.

  6. Step 06

    Year-end readiness

Keep the books in a state that supports statutory reporting, rather than reconstructing them after the year has closed.

This is partner-supervised professional work, not a bookkeeping bureau. Significant judgements remain subject to review. The directors remain responsible for the company’s records and for decisions taken on the information provided.
